We're excited to announce that registrations are now open for our Kick Off Program for children aged 3 to 5 years!

This fun and engaging program is the perfect introduction to football, helping young children develop:

Basic football skills
Coordination and balance
Confidence and teamwork
A love of being active in a safe, friendly environment

Sessions are designed to be fun, inclusive, and age-appropriate, with plenty of games and activities to keep our youngest players smiling.

IKFC Achieves Silver Rated Academy Status!

We are thrilled to announce that Ipswich Knights FC has officially been confirmed as a Silver Rated Academy! This is an incredible achievement for our club and a testament to the hard work, dedication, and commitment of our players, coaches, staff and loyal members.

Each FQ Academy club is provided an FQ Club Assessment score which reflects the culmination of a season long process and is rated Gold, Silver, Bronze or Development Committed, which is determined when a club assessment score hits a minimum threshold score.

The FQ Club Shield system is an initiative designed to improve club accountability, transparency and visibility for participants and parents while giving clubs a meaningful platform to celebrate success and growth in their technical development standards. The Gold, Silver and Bronze Star representations are based on a number of factors including extensive technical assessments undertaken by FQ’s Club Development Unit.

League structures for the 2025 season are still to be confirmed by Football Qld, however this recognition reflects our club's continued efforts to provide high-quality training, development pathways, and opportunities for young talent in line with Football Queensland's academy standards.

As we celebrate this milestone, we look forward to continuing this exciting journey together, as we build towards even greater success and providing even more opportunities for our players to develop their skills and passion for the game. We are excited about what the future holds for the Ipswich Knights and we want to thank you for your unwavering support in helping us achieve this milestone.

PROTECT OUR GAME!

Football Queensland's Protect Our Game initiative is designed to protect all within our Football Community.

There is three main principles of this policy to encourage and support positive participation within our game on and off the field - Accountability, Awareness & Education.

The three strike policy supports this campaign and incidents on and off the field which occur have the potential to affect all members of a club. These can include, club fines, loss of match points to the team and all competition teams within the club.

Three Strike Policy

To combat referee abuse, FQ has introduced a three-strike policy that targets unacceptable behaviours occurring both on and off the field 

All clubs continue to be responsible for players and participants whilst protecting the wellbeing and safety of all referees. The accumulation of Strikes will occur at clubs who continually fail to manage referee abuse or deal with unacceptable member behaviours.
